Four Canadian companies will collaborate to utilize Canadian faba beans.

Protein Industries Canada on Wednesday announced it has co-invested in a CAD$7.7 million (US $5.48 million) project focused on developing high-protein ingredients using Canadian faba beans. Protein Industries Canada committed $2.7 million, and the partners co-invested the remaining.
