Companies deepen their existing ties with additional Series B funding investment.

Global specialty minerals company ICL on Tuesday announced it has made a follow-on investment in Plantible Foods, a San Marco, Calif.-based biology platform that produces Rubi, a protein extracted from leafy greens.

The investment — part of the ingredient company's $30 million Series B round — brings ICL's total investment in Plantible to $1.4 million…
